Day 13: Shiraz Food attractions: The most known traditional food of Shiraz is rice mixed with flavored cabbage slices and tiny meatballs called Kalam pulu. If you like fruity tastes you can try rice baked with cherry and carrot. The famous dessert in Shiraz is called Paludeh served with various sorbets and local juices which are extracted from different flowers like orange blossom. Day 12: Shiraz Driving to Shiraz but en-route you will have a stop to visit Persepolis and Necropolis. The next day your tour of Shiraz start with Nasir al Molk the colorful mosque of Iran and Naranjestan Royal palace of Qajar. After that the tour continues to Vakil bazaar, mosque and bath-house. In the evening you are going to visit Eram garden and Hafez tomb.Day 11: Isfahan Food attractions: The traditional food of Isfahan is called Beriani. This food which is served with bread and the water that meat is baked in could be a favorite for meat lovers. Isfahan has many delicious desserts and sweets. You can try Fereni or Yogurt stew as dessert or have Gaz and Pulaki alongside your afternoon tea. Day 10: Isfahan In the evening we drive to Isfahan. You can visit historical bridges of Isfahan at night. The next morning you can visit Naghsh e Jahan square and its attractions including Imam and Sheikh Lotf Allah mosque and Ali Qa Pu. In the evening you can visit Chehel Setun and Vank Cathedral in the Armenian neighborhood of the city.Day 9: Kashan Driving to Kashan city of the beautiful historical houses but en-route you can visit the ancient red rock village of Abyaneh. In the evening you settle in your hotel in Kashan and the next day city tour starts by visiting Tabatabaie and Borojerdi houses and also Agha Bozorg mosque of Kashan. Day 8: Tehran Food attractions: As a modern city Tehran has many luxury and special restaurants. Experience the loved food of Iranians Tah Chin made of chicken marinated and rice marinated with yogurt and saffron or have a luxury international dish. You can also have a taste of Iranian fast-food which might be completely different from what you have seen in other countries. Day 7: Tehran Your next stop will be Tehran Metropol. You can visit Golestan palace,grand bazaar, Tabiat bridge and also the Jewelry museum in the 2 days of your stay in Tehran.Day 6: Rasht The next day of your stay in the north will be in Ramsar where you can visit the beautiful village of Javaherdeh. Food attractions: Northern part of Iran is the home of so many great traditional food made from fish and meat or only vegetables. Malabij is a seafood made with local fish of Caspian sea which is filled with vegetables, walnuts and pomegranate sauce and then barbecued. You can also try a variant of this food with barbequed meat. Another delicious northern food which is also common among other cities is Mirza Qasemi, a mixture of barbequed eggplants, tomato, garlic and eggs flavored with different spices. These are just some of northern cuisines, there are still so many stews and dishes you just have to try.Day 5: Masuleh Driving to the green north of Iran. You are going to stay in Masuleh village on top of a mountain covered with tangled trees.Day 4: Ardabil Driving to the city of Ardabil. After settling in hotel you can start city tour by visiting the tomb of great Iranian Sufi Sheikh Safi and then the anthropology museum of Ardabil. Food attractions: Located in the highland region of Iran Ardabil has a cold weather so a great variety of soups and if you've ever heard of Iranian soup or Ash, it is baked here. The most popular one is Dough Ash which is made of chick peas,rice,local vegetables and of course local delicious Dough. Sometimes little meat balls are also added to the ingredients. One special Ash of Ardabil is fruit Ash which is made by a mixture of different dried fruit like plum and cherry with local vegetables and meat. If you are a meat lover then you can try Saj Kebab baked with meat, onion, local bread and yogurt.Day 3: Kandovan Driving from Tabriz to Kandovan village to stay at houses made into heart of rocks. Food attractions: Kandovan is a mountain village with cold weather so it is a perfect place for producing different nuts and dried fruit with great quality.Day 2: Tabriz Food attractions: Tabrizi Kufte which made from a combination of minced meat, different local vegetables and split peas shaped into a large ball and filled with walnut, caramelized onion and barberry (and if you want an egg) then baked in a tomato sauce flavored with saffron. Grape tree leaves Dulma Made from a mixture of bulgur,rice,split peas,onion and local vegetables which are wrapped into green fresh leaves of grape tree and then bake it with water and some plum in it for making it a little sour. Aside from great food Tabriz is a great place for those who have a sweet tooth. There are many kinds of sweets special to Tabriz. One which is very popular in local occasions and also expensive is Qarabia, made of sugar,flour, vanilla, eggs and lots of nuts like pistachio, almond or walnut. Other things you can try are Eris, ginger bread and the oldest sweet of the region called Churutme.Day 1: Tabriz Upon arrival in the international Tabriz airport our guide will meet you.
