Iran’s ski resorts host a large number of ski enthusiast each year. People from all over the world come to these ski destinations for fun. Iran is a vast land and every corner of it has different weather conditions. Some areas are desert and arid, humid and temperate, and some are mountainous. Alborz and Zagros ranges and their peaks that are covered by snow most time of year causes that ski enthusiastic come there.

Pooladkaf ski resort in Sepidan, Fars province. It is the second largest and international ski resort of Iran.  Pooladkaf resort has a 4star hotel, 4 restaurants, 2km long cable car, 2 surfacelift with 1600 meters long specially for skiers, and 8 snowmobiles. Appropriate and varied accommodation and recreational facilities make this resort also usable in other seasons.

Tochal ski resort in Tehran province is another area for skiing in Iran. This resort area has three different tracks. The first runway starts at a height of 3850 meters and continues to the hotel. Feachures of this complex include chairlift and surfacelift. It is one of the first ski slopes in Iran that covers with snow and is available from mid-autumn.

Khoshaku ski resort as the only resort in West Azerbaijan province has many potentials for this exciting winter sport. This complex has mountains with steep slopes and beautiful scenery.

Nesar ski resort is an international resort in Kurdistan province. Its main feature is the ability to  ski on snow and grass. People can access the resort by car or on foot from the city.

Chelgard international ski resort in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province. People also know it as Koohrang ski resort. Dimeh spring, Cheshme-ye Koohrang, and Koohrang Tunel are attraction close to it.

Sahand ski resort in the East Azerbaijan province is the largest in the northwest of the country.
